Steve Poizner Campaign Event

Steve Poizner, currently the insurance commissioner for the state of California, is mounting a run for governor of California in 2010. The event was held in support of Steve's efforts in this arena. I feel very fortunate in being able to photograph this event and hear a politician up close in a more open and intimate environment. I don't know about you who may be reading this but for me and most of the people I know we don't get an opportunity to hear someone speak in a small setting like this where they can be seen up close and to listen to their philosophy's and plans without having to worry about a stray comment taken out of context hitting the evening news as a negative sound bite.
